Award winning and leading European game company has a requirement for a Core Network Programmer who will be responsible for developing the network layer used by their current and future titles. This network layer is used both in the Windows client and on the Windows back-end servers. The Core Network Programmer will be responsible for writing libraries and modules that will be used by developers of titles in local and remote offices. A passion for delivering quality, tested and well documented code is a must.
This Core group is tasked with advancing the state of the art in all areas of game development, from low level networking components to advanced graphics technology. Deliveries from this group will be packaged and shared with game development groups at all global offices.

Requirements
# 5 or more years in software development
# 3 or more years in network engineering
# Very strong programming and debugging skills in C++
# Knowledge of Python is a plus
# Proven track record of delivering high quality code
# Experience delivering software to internal or external development groups
