Arrow Partnership is seeking a candidate to fill a permanent role with a client in Colorado Springs. This person will be responsible for providing application support for the company's multiple web applications. This position exists to support organizational objectives by installing, configuring and monitoring enterprise applications to ensure capacity, availability and performance in accordance to agreed upon service levels
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design and monitor the application environments and environment architecture in accordance with the Enterprise Architecture Team
- Perform Level-3 incident management to support and restore application service within agreed upon service levels (web apps and some enterprise apps)
-Determine Production Engineering Service Level Objectives and adhere to Production Engineering Service Level Agreements
-Proactively monitor applications and application environments
-Recommend application environment changes that enable organizational goals, optimal performance and minimization of costs
-Oversee problem management and root cause analysis of application performance issues
Knowledge/Experience:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
-Experience maintaining, configuring and monitoring enterprise applications or managing and administering internet applications and servers
-Experience working with Microsoft and Linux operating systems
-Experience supporting and integrating enterprise level applications
Skills and Abilities:
Internet emphasis
-In depth understanding of large-scale Internet presence architectures with regards to web sites (intranet, extranet and Internet) and Internet based email communication.
