US BORDER PATROL is now accepting applicants for BORDER PATROL AGENT. The minimum age for an applicant is 18, and the maximum age is 39. The average starting salary for an Agent is $35,000, with the opportunity to earn more than $70,000 after three years of service (excluding overtime and other premiums.) 2) All applicants must be willing to relocate to one of the following states: California, Texas, New Mexico or Arizona. NO vacancies for other Border Patrol Sectors are being filled through this announcement.
3) US Border Patrol WILL NOT pay for relocation expenses. However, there are assistance programs to help recruits find proper living facilities at their own expense.
4) Once the hiring process is completed and a job offer is tendered, recruits will be required to complete a rigorous five month paid training academy in Artesia, NM.
