This position is for our Air Control Science division with offices in the Denver location. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for design and oversight of fabrication and installation on specific foundation, steel, conveyor and industrial roofing projects at one or more project locations. Duties and Responsibilities: ** Oversee design of structural and mechanical systems for fabrication and installation. ** Oversee fabrication and construction subcontractor's activities. ** Work with internal estimators, engineers, and project managers on one or more assigned projects. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: ** Prior experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering & construction methods required. ** Strong experience with bulk material conveyors, structural steel, and mechanical installation required. ** Minimum 5-10 years industrial construction experience required. ** A minimum of 5 years 2-D and 3-D CAD exp. desired. ** Experience w/ STAAD or similar programs required. ** A Civil or Mechanical bachelor's engineering degree required. ** The ability to travel as needed to project sites across the county and internationally is required. ** Project estimating experience OR knowledge of estimating processes and practices is preferred. ** Professional Engineer license strongly preferred. Position will travel often, and sometimes require 40+ hours work week. Relocation & Interview travel reimbursement may be provided for qualified candidates.
