We are currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer.
The Structural Engineer is responsible for the successful completion of the structural engineering activities assigned to him or her on schedule and within budget.
Candidates must have:
•Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering.
•Experience in FEA analysis methods and test methods appropriate to rail industry.
•Experience in metallurgy (material selection) and welding.
•Experience in transit designs with federal and industry standards.
•Familiarity with project specifications relating to structural design tasks.
•Experience maintaining a list of open design issues
•Experience in calculations to review design for cost and weight reduction.
