Structural Engineer Get your foot in the door!This is a great opportunity for both entry level engineers and 3-6 years experience levels. Responsibilities include performing specific project design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates and specifications, respond to client’s questions and comments, contractor submittals, and provide clarifications during construction. Job Duties will include the following: - Adhere to accepted industry and company standards
- Plan, conduct, coordinate and in a supervisory capacity
- Make decisions independently
- Direct the development of structural engineering projects.
Job Requirements for this position will include the following: - Must have 3-6 years comprehensive engineering experience with engineering consulting firm designing structural systems, including coordination with other disciplines or related education
- Licensed Professional Engineer- Must have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the Architectural and engineering industry, including Federal, State and local codes, and regulations that pertain to the industry
- Limited travel as required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Background in foundations, steel, construction, masonry, and wood design for commercial and industrial buildings
- Strong knowledge of Structural Design Software and AutoCAD.
- Education: BS in Civil Engineering emphasis in Structures
