Responsibilities:
-This candidate will help lead a group of scientists responsible for characterization and elucidation of interactions for selected sub-surface microbial consortia.
-This laboratory-based position is responsible for aligning team research activities, designing and performing experiments and interpreting laboratory data and preparing research reports.
-Able to train, monitor and supervise subordinates and colleagues in laboratory methodologies.
Qualifications:
- An advanced degree in Microbiology and or Microbial Molecular Biology with 10+ years of relevant, post-education experience.
-Extensive experience in Anaerobic Microbiology is highly desired.
-Familiarity with subsurface microbiology, microbial physiology, microbial taxonomy, genetics and/or biochemistry is a plus.
-Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills are required.
