Denver Functional SharePoint Consultant
Summary:
Slalom Consulting is seeking a Consultant to fulfill the role of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Analyst for its local office in Denver, Colorado.
This role operates in the Portals and Business Intelligence group within Slalom Consulting. As a Consultant, you will design, implement and extend the out-of-the-box functionally of MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0.
Primary responsibilities
•Design, develop, and document intranet, extranet and internet portals using the out-of-the-box functionality of MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0.
•Design, develop, configure and document WF workflows using the out-of-the-box workflows and custom Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 workflows.
•Configure out-of-the-box and custom web parts to interact with MOSS 2007 lists, libraries, BDC and other data sources.
•Design and create MOSS 2007 Content Types for document templates, metadata, workflows and information management policies.
•Design, develop and document InfoPath forms to be used in conjunction with MOSS 2007.
•General administration of MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 sites.
Requirements/Qualifications
•A minimum of four years experience (combined) using at least two of the following technologies: SharePoint Portal Server 2001, WSS 2.0, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, WSS 3.0, MOSS 2007
•Proven history of using SharePoint technologies to help solve a variety of business problems across multiple industries
•Extensive technical knowledge of Portal and Content Management solutions (7 to 10 years of hands on experience), including: Microsoft SharePoint, Vignette, Interwoven, Documentum, FileNET, and similar products
•A minimum of 2 years experience (combine) using Microsoft FrontPage and/or Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007.
•Proven analytical and organizational skills that enable the meeting of deadlines and ensuring quality results.
•Proven track record of client satisfaction and project delivery
•Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated drive to grow and improve the solution
•Experience with CSS is highly desirable
•Experience with Excel Services is highly desirable
•Experience with Reporting Services is highly desirable
•Consulting experience at “Big 4” firm highly desirable
