Patrols hotel premises in order to maintain order, enforce rules and regulations and insure observance of applicable laws.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Patrols lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confers with management, interviews guests and employees and interrogates persons to detect infringements, investigates disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
2. Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
3. Warns or ejects trouble makers and cautions careless persons.
4. Obtains assistance for accident victims and files accident reports.
5. Notifies staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
6. Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
7. May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property.
8. Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
9. Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its
duties.
10. Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
11. Performs other related duties as required.
