Dog House Music is now enrolling individual players and bands for its Summer Rock & Roll Camp for Teens. This program runs for 9 weeks each summer, and groups teens ages 11-17 into bands, where they study technique, write original songs, and learn music promotion. Founded in 2004, this program has become Colorado's preferred teen music summer camp!
All students play a final live gig for family and friends at a local venue; bands completing the program also receive ongoing help from DHM in getting gigs, and students may be eligible to receive independent study credit (depending on school district).
More information about the camps is available at www.doghousemusic.com. So far this year, DHM teen music programs have also been featured in the Boulder Weekly and Yellow Scene Magazine, as well as in an upcoming CW2 Morning Show.
