Duties:In this position, your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
•Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts to ensure that full test coverage is achieved
•Generate, organize, and report test results
•Provide testing estimates to be included in project plans
•Work directly with developers in reporting, correction, and re-testing of defect (this person will work closely with Project Manager and Development teams to define QA test methodologies, standards, and approaches for products)
•Participate in software design reviews, Functional and Technical Specifications reviews, and Architecture reviews.Identify potential issues and feasible solutions.
•Develop effective tests in a timely and efficient manner for all areas of the product
•Write easy-to-understand defect reports, test case steps, and expected result descriptions using a defect tracking system
•Provide estimates for assigned tasks/projects
•Provide technical guidance when required
Requirements:
•5+ years software testing experience
•BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Interest in Automated Testing and Test Design
•Experience / knowledge in .Net (C#, VB)
•Experience / knowledge in MS SQL Server
•Strong black box testing skill and expertise
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•The ability to work independently with limited direction
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
•Client/server and web testing experience required
•Understanding of Credit Cards applications is a plus
