A nationally known body donation company dedicated to advancing medical science is actively seeking a Procurement Technician for its location in Aurora, CO.
Qualified candidates will offer a BS in Biology or related science, have at least 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Technician, EMT, or other related healthcare experience.
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Perform donor blood draws, tissue procurement, tissue processing, tissue storage, donor screening, donor physical assessment, tissue tracking, shipping, receiving and hazardous waste disposal
- Complete controlled documentation and departmental logbooks
- Utilize safe lab practices and maintain a clean working environment
- Function as a contributing member of the lab team
- Training on all equipment will be provided
This position pays from $15/hr to $17/hr and qualified candidates can interview and start immediately.
