Hello Denver! I'm a local keyboardist/vocalist located in the denver area. I have an extensive background playing blues,classic rock, originals, R&B, rockabilly, etc...... I've been playing the keys for 30 years, I've opened for and played with national acts, played at several music festivals, did some touring and worked on several recording projects back in Portland, Oregon and through the west coast. Originally, I used to play professionally at the national level in the Christian music scene during the late 80's and through the 90's. Opening for and playing with national acts like Petra, Rez Band, White Heart, Russ Taff, Stryper, and a few others.
My musical influences include Gospel, Blues, Rockabilly, classic rock, soul, gospel. My background: I started playing blues at a very young age and have continued to play professionally over the last 18 years. My other musical influences include Delbert McClinton, BB king, Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Vaughn, Blues Brothers, Andre Crouch, Van Morrison, and a few others.
I play a lot of B3 and Rhoades piano, I started to train as a classical pianist at the age of four, Sang in a lot of choirs, toured and performed vocally when I was younger, and I do love to sing and harmonize, so singing back up isn't a problem. While continuing to take lessons through my High school years, I found that I had a knack for playing classic rock and blues. Having come from a musical family, sharing the same birthday as John lennon and having influences like Andre Crouch, Billy Preston, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Robin Trower, Paul Rodgers and so many other great artist’s, I knew I had to pursue a career in music. Since that time I have performed with The Blues Brothers Band in 2001 through 2003, performed with Curtis Salgado, Paul Delay, sat in with the Linda Hornbuckle Band, also with The Norman Sylvester Band during 2006. I have also performed at various Blues Festivals with Robert Cray & Gatemouth Johnson & opened for The Bryan Setzer Orchestra in 1997. I absolutely love to play music and perform, music has had such a huge impact on my life, Currently I'm freelancing with various bands in the Denver Metro area,
I'm looking for a full time spot and to play with a working band and hopefully get the chance to work in the studio and possibly do some touring as well.
