Adam's County Youth Advocate Program is currently hiring part-time family advocates. YAP’s mission is to keep at-risk kids out of institutions and maximize the odds that they’ll have healthy and productive futures, using the support of family and community members. YAP currently operates in 12 states, and has an 85% success rate in reuniting children with their families and communities. The primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to assist with offering services and resources and to assigned clients and their families living within Adams County, with the support of the Director and staff.Advocates will have a flexible work schedule, with a wide range of availablility and pay can increase dependent on group time and caseloads. We provide excellent paid training. Qualifications: Prefer applicants living in Adams County. High School Diploma or commensurate experience in community work; knowledge of community resources, valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle, and appropriate state required background checks.
