We are looking for someone to help watch my great-grandma every other weekend on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
My grandma is 92 and is pretty sick. She mostly sleeps all night, it is very difficult to keep her awake. She has severe dementia, usually doesn't know who you are or where she is.
The job is very easy. We would need someone who could come and wake her up every couple of hours to drink a Boost (she doesn't eat) and then help her go to the bathroom, put her pajamas on and get her in bed before you leave. I recommend bringing a book/homework/craft/etc because for the most part you will just be sitting around. You will only be providing direct care for maybe 2 hours per night (maybe not even that much).
The hours we are looking for are:
Saturday and Sunday evenings, 5:00-10:00
The pay is $8.00 (due to the ease of the job)
You must be a non-smoker, have good transportation and speak English fluently (no accents, she won't be able to understand you). Please have care lined up for your children, we do not allow them in her house, too many breakables and they make her nervous.
