This hand craftsmans technician is in charge of examining, fabricating, adjusting, and correcting products in a timely manner using plastic, carbon fiber, foam rubber, wood, and glue. Products are manipulated by heating them to approximately 400°, pressing them in vacuum presses, and shaping them to specific codes using rulers, protractors, knives, scissors, band saws, and belt sanders. Basic math, conversion of inches to millimeters, and the understanding of angles and degrees is needed for this position. The hours of this position are Monday through Friday eight am to five pm with an occasional Saturday.
