Provide end-user support to corporate staff as well as support for the installation and maintenance of personal computers (hardware and software applications).Duties include detecting, isolating, and resolving system problems.Research and recommend new PC/Network products.Set up and maintain image-scoring sites. Operate and maintain a network environment (MS Windows 2000 and MS Windows 2003), including regular monitoring and recording of system performance, and management of system resources to maintain high uptime performance. Provide hardware/software applications support to regular end-users and seasonal users (both on and off-site) Set up and maintain company inventory of IT equipment. Generate and submit purchase orders for printers and computer equipment. Provide on the job training for new technicians. Manage the company's anti-virus system and provide monthly updates. Attend meetings and advise on technical support issues. Generate special reports as required. Moderate to heavy (45 - 75 lbs) lifting and carrying of computer equipment required. REQUIRED:2+ years of college and five years PC troubleshooting and repair experience.Microsoft MCP certification with experience equal to 3 years. Proficient with Windows/Windows NT applications (i.e., Office XP/2003, Adobe, SAS, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Macintosh OS. Contract position through August with start up time again in November.
