A full service, creative marketing and communications firm is looking for an administrative super star who juggles all kinds of balls well, who has dazzling organizational skills, a passion for five-star service and is fussy about housekeeping. We are rolling out the red carpet for a cheery, full-time administrative pro who will be our organization’s full-time office manager and receptionist. The right person is someone who’s a true team player, generous of spirit, willing, capable and competent. We’re looking for a person who has the powers of a super hero, the common sense of Mary Poppins, not quite the patience of Mother Theresa and the good humor born of flexibility. Your responsibilities, should you choose to accept them, run a wide spectrum that include: •Opening the office •Answering the phones and greeting guests with grace •Providing all major administrative support functions to one of the partners and supporting other staff members as needed •Managing the daily upkeep of the office •Organizing meetings, preparing documents and managing supplies •Maintaining accurate and current files •Running errands, putting out the occasional small fire and being willing to pitch in to make a deadline. Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel. We are Mac based. Experience: a minimum of five years administrative experience is needed.
