The Mutual Fund Trading Representative performs tasks associated with the trading of mutual funds.
• Communicates with mutual fund companies to verify trades, maintain share
balances, and execute trades
• Processes new omnibus trading accounts, reconciling settlement
• Generates and reviews reports related to trading functions including
electronic trading, manual trading, product restrictions and pricing
• Scans documents related to the trading function
Candidates must have intermediate level knowledge of the mutual fund industry and processes. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required and financial industry licenses are preferred. Must have 1-2 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Typing of 40-45 wpm and 10-key skills preferred. Must be able to do math calculations with percentages and fractions. Must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in written format. Must be able to design an Excel spreadsheet and Word documents using intermediate level functions. Must be able to research and reconcile trading accounts.
