I need help videotaping author interviews, locating/downloading/purchasing video clips/photographs, and using Windows Movie Maker or similar PC software to produce short viral videos for use in promoting my novel.
The videos will open with music and photographic slide shows, then transition to author interviews and video clips to illustrate the themes of the book while entertaining potential readers through thought-provoking discussion clips, emotional music and inspiring/disturbing videos/photographs.
These will not be high-priced productions, (therefore, you do not need to be a professional) but must be polished enough to inspire confidence and competence in viewers who may be potential readers of my book. (you must, therefore, have proper video equipment along with an understanding of lighting/audio, as well as a moderate amount of experience in audio/video editing)
Experience in viral e-mail marketing, youtube/myspace/facebook-based promotions, blog writing, etc. a PLUS.
