Position Title: Manufacturing Technician Reports To:Manufacturing Engineer ADA Technologies, Inc. is a technology commercialization company located in Littleton, CO.We are seeking an experienced Technician with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.Position responsibilities will include the assembly and test of moderately complex subsystems.Duties will encompass both low-level precision assembly of intricate electronics as well as assisting with the test of finished products for quality purposes.The candidate should be able to recommend changes to engineering assembly and test procedures as necessary.This work will be performed on a team consisting of hardware EEs, software engineers, test engineers and support technicians.This position requires a minimum of a two year technical degree and three years experience in a manufacturing environment. QUALIFICATIONS This associate has a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic research environment and can effectively handle multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a technical background with a minimum of two year’s technical training and experience working with proprietary electronic systems. A personal history of success is a must for this new ADA member.Experience in an electrical design environment is key.A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently work on a team is critical. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY The associate’s duties will include the following areas of responsibility: Production build and modification of electronic products Providing feedback on manufacturing procedures, drawings, etc Performing calibration and test functions SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED AS in Engineering or an appropriate technical degree Three years of manufacturing/production experience Excellent soldering skills Experience with surface-mounted components Basic knowledge of electronic circuits including resistors, capacitors and connectors Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components Ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical drawings Proven commitment to quality and workmanship Work well in teams and able to delegate segments of work. Commitment to customers and meeting their needs Continuous commitment to learning new skills and staying current with technology Overall flexibility on the job Ability to work as a proactive, resourceful, cooperative and respectful team member •Ability to effectively work in intra- and inter-organization project teams •Ability to coordinate multiple tasks •Excellent oral and written communication skills PREFERRED / DESIRED DoD/Government contracting experience Wide range of technology knowledge and interests Experience with lead-free processes Candidates for this position will be expected to pass a technical screening test and to demonstrate soldering ability.
