Purpose:
The Production Engineer will work directly with internal business, helpdesk and technical teams to provide support for a web based application.This role will work with team of highly skilled engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot and fix issues in the production environment, reproduce problems, maintain knowledge of features in new releases, patches and hot fixes.The Production Engineer will take part in maintenance of the in-house web application by offering his/her programming skills in C# or VB.Net and will assist in the delivery of enhancement requests as well as identification and resolution of software bugs.
Responsibilities:
•Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues for internal applications
•Work with QA to test, track, fix, and verify bugs
•Escalate to Development, and follow through to track, fix, and verify bugs
•Participate in the programming of feature and enhancement requests
•Custom data extraction to support for the field
•Fixing backend data issues
•Bulk data entering through the backend
•Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
•Bachelors degree, preferablyin computer science, applied mathematics, management information systems or computer information or related field
•1-3 years work experience in an IT environment
•Proficiency in C# and ASP.net and VB.Net
•SQL experience preferred
•Must be able to create simple solutions to complex design problems
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating progress.
•Ability to quickly ascertain and solve critical problems under pressure.
•Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in team environments
•Commitment to organizational goals and objectives
