My company wholesales jewelry and gift items. We are based in the Denver Merchandise Mart.We need help with all aspects of doing the upcoming Denver Gift and Resort Show. This includes setting up a second booth on the ground level, helping to sell our products, totaling customer orders, and breaking down the booth. I will actually need two people. We will be a team of four people. Some of the time, only three of us will be needed, thus giving us a bit of flexibility about the work hours. As my company is growing, this gig could also lead to future work. I am looking for someone who can sell, who is accurate at math using a calculator, has attention to detail, is fit enough to be effective with booth set-up and breakdown, and is fun to work with.Sense of humor a plus. I would describe this gig as both fun and hard work.It involves lots of light lifting and no heavy lifting. It involves lots of interaction with gift show owners, who tend to be nice people. The sales method we use involves no pressure, it is simply a matter of helping the customer to find the right stuff for their store. The person who gets this gig will most likely respond with a resume and / or a statement of useful experience and skills, a photo (this is not a beauty contest, but since there is not time for an in-person interview, it is a chance to see how you present yourself), and a phone number where you can be reached (so we don't have to spend time e-mailing back and forth).
