We are working on a national campaign to fight childhood poverty in the U.S. and abroad.1 in 6 children live in poverty here in the United States, and across the world, 20 kids are dying every minute from completely treatable and preventable diseases.This is unacceptable and the public doesn't know how bad it is!We are working with Save the Children, a highly effective relief organization, to raise awareness and put real solutions in place.
Here in Denver, we're looking for someone who is fired up to build and run a 10-20 person fundraising canvass operation with Save the Children.The Director needs have a proven track record of recruiting, training, and managing a big team of people, a progressive political perspective, ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, and be effective public speakers and one-on-one communicators who are able to work with and motivate a wide range of people. These are roll-up-your sleeves campaign jobs.
**In the coming months, we also will be branching out into other great campaigns, possibly including efforts to elect a Democrat to the White House.Thus, the person we hire for our immediate campaign may be in line to run a 50-60 person campaign office to build support for the Democratic Party this summer.Other groups that Grassroots Campaigns, Inc works with have included, and will likely include this year: the Democratic National Committee, MoveOn.org, American Civil Liberties Union, and the League of Conversation Voters
Salary: Starts @ $24,000
