Due to strong recent growth, our client has created a new opportunity and is seeking a Senior Manager of Service Operations Facilities.This position is directly responsible for leading and coordinating all planning and management activities related to the network of field operations facilities throughout North America.This position will be a key member of the Operations Management Team and will serve as the primary liaison between corporate executive management, field operations management and external alliance partners and suppliers to deploy a proactive field operations network of facilities. Summary of Responsibilities... •Participate with the Operations Management Team in the development of a strategic plan and deployment roadmap for all operations initiatives. •Develop and lead process to compile field operations requirements from field management team.Incorporate field operations requirements, along with corporate strategic plan, into process for the layout, footprint, and network of service facilities and distribution centers. •Manage outside real estate vendors to ensure efficient leases, capital expenditures, and space availability. •Translate distribution and service needs into optimal layouts for operations facilities. •Lead analysis to determine best network of facilities to accomplish service goals and objectives in service and distribution. •Develop and maintain strategic, multi-year financial planning model for real estate portfolio. •Interface with various functions to optimize service facilities including compliance, manufacturing, sales, etc. •Standardize processes for facility sizing, location analysis, and relocation management. •Develop and oversee procurement process for operations real estate related products and services.Determine strategy for centralized versus decentralized procurement activities.Sample areas to be evaluated include; storage equipment, cleaning services & supplies, dock equipment, etc.Include procurement program management dashboard in overall real estate portfolio management process. Qualifications... • 5-10 years experience in increasingly responsible planning, analysis, project management and operations roles.The successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the organization and support a large number of locations across North America. •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline is required. •Experience (direct or closely related) with multiple facets of real estate processes; leasing, purchasing, construction management, and design. Strategic and tactical planning skills required to translate field operations and corporate requirements into real estate planning processes Additional Qualifications Desired... • Strong financial analysis & modeling skills. •Strong process development skills.Ability to develop, communicate and monitor compliance to newly developed real estate processes. •Ability to model complex distribution and service networks to optimize over 150 locations across the US. •Project management skills including ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. •Strong judgment, leadership and influencing skills. •Proactive, positive attitude.Accepts challenges as opportunity to develop new solutions and mobilize resources to pursue continuous improvement for the corporation. •High customer service orientation.Support large number of corporate and field customers. •Results oriented; motivated by the successful delivery of the strategic plan and business objectives. •Excellent verbal & written communication skills. •Strong presentation skills to represent real estate function internally and with external contacts. • High potential performer:The capability to move into broader, more complex business roles within the organization.
