Web Developer
Video Professor in Lakewood Colorado has an immediate opening for a Web Developer who will participate in maintaining the current Web site and development of all new applications.
The successful candidate will facilitate web content; must be quality conscious; possess a strong attention to detail; must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will be well versed in the following areas: Cold Fusion 6/7/8, SQL Server 2005, HTML, JavaScript, IIS, SQL.
Desired Experience: FLEX, PC Anywhere and or VNC, SVN, XML, Flash, .Net, framework experience in Mach II, Fusebox or Model-Glue.
Summary of Responsibilities:
· Code dynamic web pages for a high volume site, including an ecommerce component and state of the art online media streaming, with the latest Web 2.0 technologies, including ColdFusion 8, AJAX, FLEX, .NET and FLASH
· Work will be performed on Windows 2005, Cold Fusion 6/7/8, MS SQL 2005.
· Develop technical architecture of Web sites including scripting, database design, and user interface design.
· Manage and maintain existing database driven web applications as well as develop new applications per the company.
· Communicate with other personnel regarding technical requirements of Web site and upcoming projects or events related to Web site.
· Design and maintain SQL reporting tools that deliver business intelligence across the company.
Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field and possess an equivalent of 5 years s of professional Web development experience.
