U.S. PIRG (Public Interest Research Group) is hiring talented and passionate college graduates for campus organizing positions.
We’re a federation of nonprofit groups, based in states across the country, and we tackle issues ranging from the environment to energy to health care reform to hunger and homelessness.
PIRG campus organizers recruit college students, faculty and community members to investigate problems and build support for solutions. PIRG organizers, and the volunteers they recruit and train, research issues, build coalitions, work with the media, educate the public, and generate citizen support on issues ranging from poverty to environmental protection.
We have campus organizing positions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin.
