About the Business Systems Analyst opportunity:
Broomfield, CO – Long Term Contract
McKesson Corporation is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst who would like to have exposure to and involvement in leading edge products and product concepts. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who will be responsible for planning, conducting and analyzing business problems that will be solved with automatic systems.
As an integral part of the Product Management Team, the business analyst will play a critical role in identifying, validating and tracking of detailed product requirements, as well as insuring that product direction is clearly captured and communicated. The business analyst is particularly critical in providing software development team with clear direction, requirements information, and acceptance testing materials. Lastly, working with product management to validate new development concepts and associated customer and business value.
Responsibilities:
•Plans, conducts, and creates the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems through collaboration and documentation.
•Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective to meet business needs and requirements.
•Plans, communicates, and possibly executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
•Creates planning specifications for software and interfaces to meet business requirements.
•Creates and tracks information about business direction changes. product decisions,and design - software direction to provide team and senior leadership visibility into the project.
Requirements:
•Proven, significant experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements to build information systems.
•4+ years experience in designing, validating and tracking software requirements into information technology through collaboration and information sharing.
•Experience with requirements definition and analysis within an Agile environment.
•Specific experience in all areas that touch the hospital business office and the associated transactions sets is required.
•Specialized knowledge of building system solutions or business applications.
•Very strong writing, negotiation and presentation skills.
•Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.
•4 year degree in computer science or related professional experience
