Job Description: Strong business analyst needed to support government customer. Key activities are expected to include, but not be limited to:

Reviewing & analyzing key IT security control family procedures and NIST 800-53 A, helping the customer team learn about the specific audit requirements, plan to implement various requirements, and to document/demonstrate successful compliance. Developing various IT security documents in the required templates/formats. Ensuring that the suite of IT security documents are "synchronized". Currently, changes in one document such as the System Security Plan (SSP) cascade and impact other documents, such as the Security Controls Compliance Matrix (SCCM). Leading formatting of documents so that all have a consistent look and feel and/or comply with required formats. Supporting Capital Planning Investment Control (CPIC) document updates, such as the Exhibit 300, an annual submission. Assisting in Earned Value Management - including developing baseline budgets, updating actual cost data, and calculating EVM metrics.
Developing and maintaining a repository of all documents centrally for easy access and to help facilitate version control. Support other activities as needed.

Required Education/Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of general experience. Six (6) years of general experience is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Must be able to both work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidate must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of CPIC and Federal IT security requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53). Direct experience either drafting CPIC documents (e.g., cost benefit analysis) and incorporating IT security requirements on a project (e.g., developing Rules of Behavior). Experience in the Federal IT consulting space strongly preferred. Must have strong analysis and writing skills and excellent communication skills. Position requires that candidate successfully meets the requirements for a NAC (National Agency Background Check). Favorable results are required to support this contract.
