The Accounting Clerk processes accounts payable and accounts receivable. This person may also process payroll and back up to Receptionist. •Processes accounts payables •Scans and files documents •Processes client and vendor invoices; enters invoices into the general ledger and makes adjustments as needed •Processes payroll; retrieves timesheets, time-off forms and enters data into an Excel spreadsheet Must have at least 1-2 years of accounting experience Data entry and 10-key skills must be at 40 wpm with 90% accuracy. Must be able to design an Excel spreadsheet using basic formulas. Must have basic computer literacy and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office processes. Must have basic knowledge of accounts payable and receivable. A high school diploma or the equivalent is necessary as well as 2-3 years’ accounting experience. Must be able to juggle tasks and priorities to meet changing deadlines. Must have the ability to pay attention to many details and solve problems as they arise. Excellent benefits are offered!!
