I am selling my kick butt camcorder beacuase i never use it. it's a great camera for people thinkig about going into filmaking because of the features (such as direct firewire link to digital movie editing programs), as well as the insprired home filmaker. i am throwing in the tripod and an extra backup battery and carrying case.

This all in one wonder uses the MiniDv format and has a 3.5-inch LCD screen and a color viewfinder. A special feature on the TRV9 is the composite input, a feature that lets you convert old videos to digital. The camcorder includes a FireWire, used for digital editing and copying (yes it works wonderfully with Final Cut Pro.) Not only does the camcorder have a 15x optical zoom and a 180x digital zoom, it also has a nice 8-hour battery that allows for extended recording periods. One feature that the TRV9 has that I think is especially great is the focus ring. A feature often ignored, the focus ring allows you to focus using the ring around the lens, which offers great focusing control. Clearly, good control is essential in shooting good video.
