I have a 70 Chevy pickup for sale. It is a 4wd, 4 speed manual, lwb. I bought this truck around six years ago with the plan of fully restoring it. I have most all the mechanical I can think of completed, but unfortunately need to now sell it asap. Here are the things I can think of off the top of my head, that I have had done to it over the last few years: It has a new 350 w/ now around 15-20k max, new electrical all around (completely rewired), power steering, all new brakes, u-joints, new stainless steel exhaust w/ stainless tips (sounds great), new front bumper, new rear steel roll pan, rebuilt hubs, . . . ?, pretty much everything under the skin has been replaced. I also have a few cosmetic parts for it. Mechanically it is extremely sound, it is a very solid old truck. I bought it with an existing 2" body lift, so I put new Cooper 295/?/16's on it that now have at least 80-90% left on them. It has an original black vinyl bench seat that is in very good shape.
Overall the body is extremely straight, there is one major dent on the bottom section in front of the rear tire on the drivers side of the bed. The guy that I bought it from gave me a clean straight section to replace that spot. Beyond that, there is some rust forming on the driver side rockers, and the driver side floor looks as if it was fiberglassed a little. The passenger side is good. It has a wood bed, which I planned on having replaced. My mechanic who has done most all the major mechanical work on the truck, is a LMC dealer and can get a COMPLETE oak bed kit for $600.00
The guy I bought it from had started to attempt to restore it with his son, but his son evidently lost interest. It has very little rust, maybe partially due to the fact that it has been painted a few times. The front half was originally blue, but then appears to have been painted red, then most recently the primered looking yellow. The bed was evidently originally red. This was the last and most expensive part of the restore I had left to do. I am motivated and need to sell this asap, I have WELL over 8k invested. I can provide more pics if necessary. It makes me sick having to let this go . . . !!

It is NOT ok to contact this poster with commercial interests.
